However, keep in mind that when pottery is exposed quickly to extreme temperature changes like taking a vessel from the freezer into a heated oven, or a hot item and putting it in a snow bank etc., cracking will occur.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo not expose pottery to an open flame or set it on a hot stovetop burner.
