The whirr of the wheel at first feels chaotic, until the potter's steady hands take control.

Without haste, the piece is gently transformed into it's masterful shape.

At the "leather hard" stage, more final touches progress with care. Excess clay is trimmed off, handles added or holes punched.

The fragile clay piece is then set out to dry before experiencing a series of firings and continual transformation.
